Reading: Ephesians 2:11-13
Devotional: Before Christ, we were spiritually dead, separated from God's promises, without hope. Paul urges believers to remember their former state—not to wallow in shame, but to cultivate gratitude and humility. When we recall the darkness from which Christ rescued us, our hearts overflow with thanksgiving. This remembrance keeps us from spiritual pride and helps us extend grace to others still searching. Today, reflect on your life before encountering Jesus. How has He transformed you?
Reflection: Let the memory of transformation fuel your worship and deepen your compassion for those who don't yet know Him.
Reading: Ephesians 2:14-17
Devotional: Jesus Christ is the ultimate peacemaker. He demolished the dividing wall of hostility between God and humanity, between Jew and Gentile, between us and others. Through His blood, He created one new humanity, reconciling all to the Father. When conflict arises in your relationships, ask this clarifying question: "How would Jesus be honored and glorified in this situation?" Shifting focus from your rights to Christ's reputation changes everything. Peace isn't merely the absence of conflict; it's the presence of Christ's reconciling power.
Reflection: Today, identify one relationship that needs peace. Instead of defending yourself, seek to honor Jesus. Pray for that person, listen with humility, and let Christ's peace flow through you.
Reading: Ephesians 2:18-19; Psalm 133
Devotional: Through Christ you have 24/7 access to God the Father by one Spirit. You're no longer an outsider, stranger, or foreigner—you're a fellow citizen with the saints, a member of God's household. This isn't a privilege reserved for Sunday mornings or Wednesday prayer meetings; it's your constant reality. How good and pleasant when God's children dwell together in unity, traveling life's journey with eyes fixed on Jesus! You're not walking alone; you're surrounded by brothers and sisters pursuing the same goal.
Reflection: Exercise your access today. Pray throughout the day in continuous conversation with your Redeemer.
Reading: Ephesians 2:20-22; 1 Corinthians 1:26-30
Devotional: You are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. Christ is the cornerstone, the apostles and prophets the foundation, and you are living stones in God's holy temple. This isn't individual construction—it's corporate. God's Spirit lives in the community of believers collectively pursuing Him. You're not meant to journey alone. When one member suffers, all suffer; when one rejoices, all rejoice. Your spiritual growth happens in relationship with others. Who in your faith community needs support? Who could you walk alongside? Resist isolating yourself and reach out!
Reflection: How can you “do life together” with with fellow believers today? God's presence manifests powerfully when His people unite.
Reading: John 17:20-23; 1 John 4:7-12
Devotional: Jesus prayed that all believers would be one, just as He and the Father are one—so the world would know God's love. The world recognizes Christians not by political affiliation, economic status, or popularity, but by love. Yet loving those who are unlovable challenges us deeply. That difficult neighbor, the person with opposing views, the one who wounded you—God calls you to love them with His unconditional love. You didn't deserve fellowship with God, yet He made a way. Extend that same grace to others. This is how unity develops—through supernatural love.
Reflection: Ask God to give you His heart for someone you struggle to love. Pray for them genuinely, and let God's love flow through you.
