Reading: James 1:5-8; Ephesians 5:15-17
Devotional: God's wisdom isn't found in human intelligence or worldly success—it's a gift freely given to those who ask. When we walk in Christ's wisdom, we reflect His character: purity, peace, gentleness, and mercy. This wisdom transforms how we interact with others, especially those who don't yet know Jesus. Are you leaning on your own understanding or seeking God's perspective? The Spirit offers wisdom. He promises to give it generously, without finding fault.
Reflection: As you face choices today, pause and ask God for His wisdom. Let your walk reflect Christ's transforming wisdom in every conversation and decision.
Reading: Ephesians 5:15-16; Galatians 6:9-10
Devotional: Time is a precious, non-renewable resource. Paul urges us to make the best use of it "because the days are evil." This isn't a call to frantic busyness, but to intentional living. What occupies your schedule? Are you investing time in what matters eternally—prayer, Scripture, serving others, sharing Christ's love? Making the best use of time begins with prioritizing time with Jesus. When we meet with Him first, everything else finds its proper place. Don't wait for perfect circumstances. The opportunity to serve, encourage, and witness is now.
Reflection: Today, evaluate your calendar. Where can you create space for God? Where can you do good for someone in the household of faith or beyond?
Reading: Ephesians 5:18; Galatians 5:16-25
Devotional: Being filled with the Spirit is not a one-time experience but a daily surrender. Just as being drunk means being under alcohol's influence, being Spirit-filled means yielding every area of life to God's control. The Holy Spirit doesn't want just a room in your heart—He desires access to every corner, every secret place, every hidden thought. When we're filled with the Spirit, we don't manufacture spiritual fruit through willpower; it flows naturally from His presence. Yesterday's anointing was for yesterday; today requires fresh filling. Come to the Father and pray, "Fill me completely. Take control of my thoughts, emotions, and actions. I surrender all.”
Reflection: Today, ask yourself: What am I holding back from God? What compartments remain locked? Invite the Holy Spirit into those places. Confess what grieves Him.
Reading: Ephesians 5:19-20; Psalm 100
Devotional: When the Holy Spirit fills us, worship becomes our natural response. It's not confined to Sunday mornings but overflows in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs throughout our week. Worship isn't about having perfect pitch. It’s about a heart fully devoted to God. Notice how Paul connects being Spirit-filled with addressing one another in song and giving thanks always. Sing His praises—in your car, in the shower, wherever you are. Don't worry about who's listening. Let your life become a melody to the Lord. When gratitude fills your heart, complaining loses its grip.
Reflection: Today, let gratitude mark your life. Thank God for His presence, His provision, His patience. Choose thankfulness. Choose worship. Let joy be your testimony.
Reading: Acts 1:8; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-7
Devotional: Jesus promised that when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, we receive power—not for personal gain, but to be His witnesses. This power enables us to reflect Christ's wisdom, demonstrate His love, and share His gospel. Being a witness isn't optional; it's the natural overflow of a Spirit-filled life. You don't need to be perfect to point others to Jesus. You just need to be willing. Your life speaks volumes. The fruit of the Spirit in you attracts those searching for genuine hope. Let the Spirit's power flow through you to touch lives for eternity. You will be His witness.
Reflection: Today, ask God to make you sensitive to opportunities. Who needs to hear about Jesus? Who needs encouragement? Who needs to see Christ's love in action? You are Christ with skin on to a watching world. Don't hide your light.
