06 April 2026: The Foundation of Faith

Reading: John 20:24-29

Devotional: Thomas demanded proof before believing in Christ's resurrection, but Jesus gently invited him to see and believe. Like Thomas, we often struggle with doubt, wanting tangible evidence before trusting God. But Jesus declares a special blessing for those who believe without seeing. Resurrection power begins with simple faith—trusting that Jesus died for your sins and rose again. This isn't blind faith; it's confidence in God's character and His Word. Your salvation doesn't depend on perfect understanding or flawless feelings, but on believing that Jesus is Lord.

Reflection: Where are you demanding proof instead of trusting? Surrender your doubts to Him today and experience the blessing of faith.

07 April 2026: Receiving the Holy Spirit

Reading: John 20:19-22; Ephesians 5:18

Devotional: When Jesus appeared to His disciples, He breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit." This wasn't a one-time event but the beginning of Spirit-filled living. The command to "be filled with the Spirit" is continuous—we need daily filling, not just a single experience. Resurrection power flows through us as we remain yielded to the Holy Spirit's control. Are you running on yesterday's spiritual experience, or are you being continually refreshed? Just as your physical body needs daily nourishment, your spirit needs fresh filling.

Reflection: Come to God's Word each morning. Confess any sin that grieves the Spirit. Ask Him to fill you afresh today, empowering you to live victoriously over temptation, fear, and discouragement.

08 April 2026: Crucified with Christ

Reading: Galatians 2:20; Romans 6:1-11

Devotional: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live." This paradox holds the secret to resurrection power. Your old self—dominated by sin, selfishness, and rebellion—died with Jesus on the cross. But you've been raised to new life! This isn't merely theological truth; it's practical reality. When temptation comes, remember: that old you is dead. You don't have to obey sinful desires anymore. Christ now lives in you, providing power to choose righteousness. Today, when anger, lust, or pride knock at your door, declare: "I died to that. Christ lives in me now."

Reflection: Identify with Jesus in His death to sin and His resurrection to new life. Let His life shine through your choices, words, and attitudes.

09 April 2026: Peace in the Storm

Reading: John 14:27; Philippians 4:6-7

Devotional: Twice in the upper room, Jesus spoke "Peace be with you" to His frightened disciples. His peace isn't the absence of trouble but His presence in the midst of it. You may face painful circumstances, difficult relationships, or uncertain futures, yet Christ offers supernatural peace that transcends understanding. This peace comes from knowing He is with you always—never leaving, never forsaking. Resurrection power means Jesus conquered death itself; surely He can handle your current crisis. When anxiety looms, bring everything to Him in prayer with thanksgiving. Focus not on your problem's size but on your Savior's sufficiency. His grace is enough.

Reflection: Allow His peace to guard your heart and mind today, even when circumstances remain unchanged.

10 April 2026: Sent with Purpose

Reading: Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

Devotional: Jesus didn't raise you to new life for you to sit comfortably. "As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you." You have a mission: make disciples, share the gospel, display Christ's love. Resurrection power isn't just for personal victory; it's for impacting others. People around you desperately need to see Jesus—and He lives in you! Your life is His showcase. When coworkers see your integrity, do they see Christ? When neighbors witness your joy amid trials, do they wonder about your hope? When family members receive your forgiveness, do they experience God's grace?

Reflection: Today, recognize that Christ's resurrected life is on display through you. Ask Him: "Who needs to see You through me today?" Then step out with confidence, knowing His power enables you to represent Him well.
