20 July 2026: God's Everlasting Love
Reading: John 3:16-17; Romans 5:8
Devotional: God's love for you does not depend on your performance, political views, or social status. It's a love that existed before you took your first breath. The Father demonstrated this love by giving His only Son so that you might have eternal life. Today, pause and let this truth sink deep: God loved you first. You don't have to earn it, maintain it, or prove yourself worthy of it. His love is everlasting and unchanging. When the world criticizes or confronts you, remember that you are anchored in divine love that cannot be shaken. Let this love transform how you see yourself and others today.
21 July 2026: Seeking First the Kingdom
Reading: Matthew 6:25-34; Psalm 27:4
Devotional: In our fast-paced world we're tempted to chase after things—success, security, reputation, possessions. But Jesus invites us to a different priority. "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness." What might this look like practically? Maybe it means starting your day with God before checking your phone. It can mean asking "What does God want?" before you ask "What do I want?" When you seek Him first, everything else finds its proper place. The anxieties that loom large become smaller in the light of His presence. Today, identify something that's been competing for first place in your heart, and surrender it to God.
22 July 2026: The Holy Spirit as Teacher
Reading: John 14:25-27; John 16:13-15
Devotional: You are not alone in navigating life's challenges. The Holy Spirit lives within you as your Teacher, Counselor, and Helper, and He never takes a vacation. In moments of confrontation, He can give you the right words or the wisdom to remain silent. In times of confusion, He brings Scripture to your remembrance. In seasons of testing, He cultivates Christ-likeness in you. We must practice tuning in to the Spirit's voice. Before responding to that difficult email or conversation, pause and ask, "Holy Spirit, what would You have me say?" Cultivate spiritual ears that hear His gentle guidance.
23 July 2026: Faithful in the Fire
Reading: Daniel 3:16-18; James 1:2-4
Devotional: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego faced an impossible choice: bow to the idol or burn in the furnace. Their response reveals remarkable faith: "Our God is able to deliver us… but even if He doesn't, we will not serve your gods." What a picture of faith! It’s the kind of faith that remains faithful regardless of circumstances. You may be facing your own "fiery furnace” (illness, financial crisis, relational conflict, persecution for your beliefs, etc.). Will you remain faithful even if God doesn't rescue you the way you hope? True faith trusts God's character more than it demands certain outcomes. Stand firm today.
24 July 2026: God's Presence in the Battle
Reading: Psalm 23; Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 8:28-39
Devotional: "Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." These words of Jesus echo through every confrontation, criticism, and crisis you'll ever face. God is with you. He’s not watching from a distance; He’s present in the midst of your battle. He's working all things together for good, even when circumstances seem chaotic. Nothing can separate you from His love. Today, whatever challenge you're facing, pause and acknowledge God's presence. He's not intimidated by your critics, surprised by your circumstances, or overwhelmed by your problems. He who began a good work in you will complete it. Walk forward in confidence, knowing you are never alone.
